The VTIME Acquisition Lead - SME will play a critical role in advancing the Virtual Toolbox for Installation Mission Effectiveness (VTIME) system within the Army acquisition environment, ensuring full compliance with DoDI 5000.87 Software Acquisition Pathway and timely delivery of a Minimum Viable Product. What You'll Do
- Oversee all acquisition program activities, ensuring seamless execution from requirements identification to solution delivery and long-term operations and support
- Apply deep knowledge of DoW and Army program management frameworks to plan and execute acquisition strategies, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices
- Lead and facilitate strategic planning efforts, guiding the development of acquisition strategies that align with mission objectives and program goals
- Ensure cross-functional coordination throughout the system development lifecycle, from requirements identification to deployment and sustainment
- Oversee operations, scheduling, risk and issue management, and performance analysis to ensure program success
- Lead / contribute to the development and maintenance of acquisition and contracts products in support of program execution and program decisions
- Participate in planning meetings, status meetings, and reviews aligned with the project roadmap
- Participate in weekly budget, contract, and acquisition meetings to understand program requirements and where adjustments may be needed, impacts to the project roadmap, impacts to funding, and impacts to contracts
- Lead / support project roadmap development, execution, and management
- Develop engagement strategies with external and internal stakeholders and industry partners
- Engage with stakeholders to align and advance / achieve project objectives
- Prepare program briefings for leadership engagement with applicable Army organizations
- Prepare briefings and executive correspondence to explain, defend, and advocate for the program
- Reduce issues to practical recommended options; explain recommendations to decision-makers in terms that permit decisions
- Participate in agile planning and execution activities, including leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, and PI Planning as needed
What We're Looking For
- Deep knowledge of DoW and Army program management frameworks
- Experience planning and executing acquisition strategies in compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices
