As Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships at Caiz, you will lead the strategic growth and expansion of our innovative platform at the intersection of blockchain technology and ethical finance. You are responsible for identifying high-value opportunities, building strategic alliances, negotiating key deals, and driving partnerships that support the company's long-term success across global markets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute Caiz’s global business development and partnership strategy in alignment with overall company objectives.
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with fintech platforms, blockchain networks, financial institutions, exchanges, regulators, and key ecosystem players.
- Drive market entry and expansion plans across regions globally.
- Lead partnership lifecycle from lead generation, proposal development, due diligence, contract negotiation, and post-deal integration.
- Represent Caiz at international conferences, summits, and industry events to build brand awareness and forge new alliances.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to ensure partnership success and alignment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and regulatory developments to inform strategic initiatives.
- Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals and ensure performance KPIs are achieved.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales, ideally within blockchain, fintech, crypto, or financial services.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and forging strategic alliances in complex ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, token economies, DeFi, and/or crypto exchanges.
- Strong network within fintech, crypto, and institutional finance sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
