About the Role

Field is hiring a Vitas Sales Representative to educate physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals about the value of hospice care. In this mission-driven role, you will build trusted relationships with referral sources and work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive timely care.

What You'll Do

  • Build trusted relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals.
  • Guide referral sources through understanding prognostication, the hospice value proposition, and effective conversations for families.
  • Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit.
  • Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
  • Manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate sales by building long-term business partnerships.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services.
  • Experience in a competitive team environment involving individual accountability and teamwork.
  • Ability to demonstrate examples of critical thinking and created solutions.
  • Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or demonstrates track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals.
  • Strong customer service, sense of urgency, and problem solving skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need satisfaction selling process.
  • Ability to manage a territory, to conduct sales calls and to generate sales by building long term business partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Other acceptable licenses include RN, LPN/LVN, or Social Work (SW).
  • Past military service.
  • Experience with volunteer organization.
  • Hospice experience.
