Field is hiring a Vitas Sales Representative to educate physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals about the value of hospice care. In this mission-driven role, you will build trusted relationships with referral sources and work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive timely care.
What You'll Do
- Build trusted relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals.
- Guide referral sources through understanding prognostication, the hospice value proposition, and effective conversations for families.
- Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit.
- Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
- Manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate sales by building long-term business partnerships.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years sales experience or in healthcare services.
- Experience in a competitive team environment involving individual accountability and teamwork.
- Ability to demonstrate examples of critical thinking and created solutions.
- Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or demonstrates track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals.
- Strong customer service, sense of urgency, and problem solving skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need satisfaction selling process.
- Ability to manage a territory, to conduct sales calls and to generate sales by building long term business partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Other acceptable licenses include RN, LPN/LVN, or Social Work (SW).
- Past military service.
- Experience with volunteer organization.
- Hospice experience.
