VOIS is seeking a Videomaker to join their team in Milan to produce high-quality video podcast content. The role involves operating cameras in-studio and on location, editing long-form and short-form video content, and contributing creatively to the visual identity of podcast brands using advanced tools and AI technologies.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Production team, the Head of Production and the Creator to conceptualize a content strategy and plan engaging and innovative video podcast content
- Serve as the primary camera operator, primarily operating in our Milan studio, with the possibility of outdoor shooting
- Stay updated on the latest camera equipment and techniques to enhance video production quality, with a particular attention on AI tools
- Edit compelling Youtube Videos (Podcast & other) for VOIS’ creators, utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and general video editing software to work on a video ensuring content is visually appealing and aligns with the channel's style
- Adjusting your video to meet retention standards, by utilizing notes given from the Production team and use viewer data to improve the quality of the content
- Implementing creative choices during editing - including scenario structure for animations, finding the right music for certain clips and reactions, and determining what should be supported visually/audibly in the editing process
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a camera operator and video editor in a digital content creation environment, with a focus on long-form content such as Podcast and YouTube video
- Proficiency in operating professional video cameras and knowledge of various filming techniques
- Strong creative vision and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content
- Proficiency in Adobe products, specifically Premiere Pro
- Proficiency in the Sony Alpha cameras ecosystem
- A smart approach to new AI tools and continue to learn and evolve in other efficient and effective ways to make content
- Native Italian speaker, proficient in English, based in the Milan metropolitan area
Nice to Have
- Proven knowledge of the internet culture, with a particular focus on podcast and YouTube
- Proven ability in managing production activities with brands
- Proven ability with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or similar tools
