Paired is hiring a Video Editor for a Travel YouTube Channel. You will edit long-form YouTube videos and create short-form content optimized for social media platforms. This remote role involves working with subtitles in Russian and Hebrew and collaborating on thumbnail design.
What You'll Do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos for 2–3 channels, ensuring high-quality storytelling and visual appeal.
- Create short-form content from videos, optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit and integrate subtitles for Russian and Hebrew content using AI tools or manual methods.
- Collaborate on thumbnail design and graphic elements to enhance video engagement.
- Follow and replicate editing styles similar to creators like 'Trent The Traveler.'
- Work closely with content creators and team members to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or other social media platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of AI tools for subtitle generation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Photoshop or Canva.
- Experience with thumbnail editing and graphic design.
