Paired is looking for a Video Editor for Educational AI Content Channel to produce dynamic video content for a YouTube channel focused on AI tools. You'll transform raw footage, scripts, and recordings into compelling, fast-paced educational videos that make complex topics easy to understand.
What You'll Do
- Edit and assemble raw footage, voiceovers, screen recordings, and graphics into polished educational videos (5-15 minutes long).
- Design, animate, and integrate advanced motion graphics, animated text, icons, and visual explanations.
- Ensure visual presentation supports the script and voiceover, maintaining a high-energy viewing experience aligned with YouTube trends.
- Select and edit appropriate background music, sound effects, and audio treatments.
- Perform basic color correction and grading for visual consistency.
- Develop and maintain efficient editing templates and motion graphics packages for consistent branding.
- Incorporate feedback from the content and production team.
- Ensure all videos meet technical specifications for YouTube upload.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in fast-paced digital media or YouTube production.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects with a strong portfolio showcasing complex motion graphics, kinetic typography, and data visualization.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.
- Deep familiarity with video formats, codecs, and YouTube platform best practices.
- Meticulous attention to detail in editing, ensuring seamless transitions, accurate on-screen information, and perfect timing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work independently.
