Fixpoint is hiring Nuclear Technicians for a contract role contributing to a research project at a leading AI company. In this remote position, you will leverage your deep professional expertise to help shape how AI understands the utilities sector.
What You'll Do
- Explain the unique challenges and required skillsets of your job as a Nuclear Technician.
- Define and articulate what excellence looks like within your profession.
- Design relevant and insightful questions related to the occupation of a Nuclear Technician.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of full-time work experience as a Nuclear Technician.
- Native-level English communication skills.
- Current U.S. residency.
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week project engagement.
Nice to Have
- Experience with nuclear equipment operational policies and procedures that ensure environmental safety.
- Experience conducting surveillance testing to determine the safety of nuclear equipment.
- Experience monitoring nuclear reactor equipment performance to identify operational inefficiencies, hazards, or maintenance needs.
- Experience testing plant equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Experience applying safety tags to equipment needing maintenance.
