Praytell, an integrated marketing and creative communications agency, is seeking a Vice President, PR & Communications (Travel + Consumer) to lead the next phase of expansion for its rapidly growing Travel & Consumer teams. This role is for a strategic leader who will manage client relationships, oversee integrated accounts, and develop team talent.
What You'll Do
- Inspire a solutions-first culture and anticipate risks and opportunities for proactive decision-making.
- Lead with authenticity and maintain trusted client partnerships through strategic honesty and consistent value delivery.
- Shape client approach to PR, influencer, and social media, establishing best practices and creating case-study level work.
- Set financial goals for accounts to ensure profitability and sustained growth across the portfolio.
- Develop operational frameworks to streamline team workflows and maximize efficiency.
- Lead succession planning, resource allocation, and mentor junior, mid-level, and aspiring senior leaders.
- Lead communication for a portfolio of clients and oversee agency-wide written communications and high-level pitch decks.
- Deliver compelling presentations to senior clients to drive buy-in for large initiatives.
- Oversee strategic application of channel audits and shape methodologies for audience insights.
- Define and implement channel-specific strategies for Earned, Influencer, and Social channels at a portfolio level.
- Shape client’s creative response to trends and oversee earned-first creative programs.
- Lead discussions on long-term talent partnerships and partner with the creative team on integrated campaigns.
- Establish high-level earned media strategies and partner with influencer and social teams on program execution.
- Guide client accounts’ overall approach to data analysis to deliver meaningful insights and establish KPI frameworks.
- Play an active role in agency new business efforts from intake through pitching to secure new partnerships.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in public relations and integrated communications.
- Experience across travel & tourism and consumer lifestyle sectors.
- Proven track record leading large scale integrated accounts.
- Exceptional client relationship skills.
- Fluency in the evolving media landscape.
- Ability to confidently manage multiple clients, workstreams, and internal initiatives.
- Financial oversight and budget management skills.
