Centene Management Company LLC is hiring a Vice President, Population Health & Clinical Operations to provide strategic leadership for our healthcare initiatives. In this remote role, you will serve as a catalyst for market-level population health strategy to achieve the Quadruple Aim.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership for population health internally and with external partners including providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
- Understand the local healthcare landscape to identify key drivers and opportunities for innovative care models.
- Analyze unique community health needs and population attributes to drive program and service development.
- Use analytics to identify insights and drive targeted interventions for specific populations.
- Oversee performance of all Utilization Management functions, including prior authorization and concurrent review.
- Orchestrate all elements of the population health strategy for the business.
- Drive local Health Benefit Ratio initiatives through strong partnership with Finance.
- Partner with medical directors to translate member needs into intentional clinical program design.
- Liaise with state regulators regarding clinical programs.
- Coordinate quality initiatives such as audits, star ratings, and contract reviews.
- Inform and execute against contracts, driving outcomes and operationalizing them locally.
- Serve as an integral member of the executive leadership team, delivering clinical solutions to evolving business needs.
- Execute on standards while customizing for local requirements and partnering with Centers of Excellence for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Current RN License
- Must have or obtain licensure in California

- Master's Degree
Team & Environment
You will partner directly with the Chief Medical Officer and serve as a contributing member of enterprise and local committees. This role is an integral part of the executive leadership team.
