Anaconda is hiring a Vice President of Quality Engineering to lead a strategic transformation of product quality across our enterprise portfolio. You will define quality as a competitive advantage, embedding AI-aware quality practices into our Conversational AI, Voice, CCaaS, and Agentic AI platforms. This executive role reports directly into the CTO / Chief Product & Technology organisation.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute a company-wide Quality Engineering strategy aligned with product and AI roadmap.
- Establish quality governance, standards, and metrics across all products and platforms.
- Act as the executive owner of product quality, release readiness, and risk acceptance.
- Represent quality posture in executive reviews, customer escalations, and board-level discussions.
- Define quality practices for complex, highly configurable platforms including automation, orchestration, and intelligent decisioning components.
- Establish robust validation strategies for workflow-driven, event-based, and non-deterministic systems.
- Drive automation-led quality engineering using API, contract, and integration testing; synthetic data and scenario-driven validation; scalable regression frameworks.
- Ensure quality coverage for voice, conversational flows, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
- Partner with architecture and platform teams to embed design-for-quality principles early in the lifecycle.
- Encourage selective use of intelligent tooling to improve test coverage, defect prediction, and release confidence.
- Transform QA into a modern, engineering-led Quality function.
- Establish predictable, scalable, and measurable quality across all products.
- Ensure AI system reliability, safety, and enterprise readiness.
- Protect and strengthen reputation with Tier-1 global customers.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience defining and implementing enterprise-wide quality strategies for complex software platforms.
- Executive leadership background in quality engineering, with a track record of transforming QA into an engineering-led function.
- Deep expertise in quality practices for AI-driven, conversational, and workflow-based systems.
- Significant experience with quality governance, release readiness, and representing quality at an executive level.
- Expert knowledge of automation-led testing approaches including API, contract, integration, and scenario-driven validation.
- Strong ability to partner with Engineering, Product, SRE, Security, and Customer Success leadership.
Team & Environment
You will own multi-product QA organisations, shared platforms, production quality, and customer-impact outcomes. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, SRE, Security, and Customer Success leadership. This role reports to the CTO / Chief Product & Technology organisation.
Work Mode
This role is based onsite in Hyderabad.
