Braze is seeking a Vice President of Power Commercialization to drive growth in our power and electricity analytics business. This senior commercial leader will bridge technical excellence with commercial strategy, shaping the future of decarbonized power by scaling our consulting and digital product offerings.
What You'll Do
- Define unique opportunities and develop high-value consulting and product offerings for the power sector based on client needs.
- Collaborate with technical leads to commercialize services like grid modeling and technology assessment.
- Define and execute the go-to-market plan for the Power business across consulting and digital products.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with key accounts, pursuing strategic growth opportunities.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial value for clients.
- Own and expand a book of business with large tech clients, utilities, and other power market participants.
- Dynamically adapt offerings and forecast client needs to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Science teams to shape scalable, market-aligned solutions.
- Work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer to align the technical team while owning commercial strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Proven expertise in the power, energy, or climate technology sectors.
- A track record of selling power-related offerings into large enterprises like utilities, hyperscalers, or grid operators.
- Experience building and commercializing analytical or technical services.
- Ability to translate complex modeling and scientific capabilities into client value.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort building a new business line.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Existing relationships or a book of business in the power, energy, or climate technology sectors.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with or at a data center hyperscaler.
- Experience commercializing software or digital products in energy analytics.
- Understanding of grid modeling, renewable integration, or power market dynamics.
- An advanced degree in engineering, power systems, energy economics, or a related field.

- Salary range: $204,000-$350,000
