Faro Creaform Engineering is hiring a Vice President, Business Manager to lead the Amplifier Research (AR) business. In this role, you will have full profit and loss responsibility, guiding a $60M+ USD revenue unit and driving its strategic and operational direction.
What You'll Do
- Manage the overall profit & loss (P&L) for the AR business.
- Drive organic revenue growth of over 10% per year and scale profitability accordingly.
- Reduce working capital through proactive management of inventory, contractual terms, and cash collection.
- Improve profitability via Operational Excellence initiatives, including material cost reductions, value engineering, value analysis, and sustainability projects.
- Oversee operations to ensure delivered products meet defined KPIs for cost, schedule, and quality.
- Accurately forecast business results and meet operating plan commitments.
- Ensure business finances are properly managed and reported in a timely, accurate manner.
- Establish performance measures that promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team, leveraging proactive succession planning.
- Define and execute a new product development and introduction plan to drive organic growth.
- Develop and drive the execution of a strategic plan to achieve long-range (5-year) growth targets.
- Develop and execute an annual operating plan.
What We're Looking For
- A BS in Engineering or an adjacent field of study.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a P&L with annual revenue of $25M USD or greater.
Nice to Have
- An MBA is preferred.
- Global business experience.
- Experience in RF amplification solutions, EMC Test Solutions, or similar technology.
- Cross-functional business leadership spanning engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, business development, contracts, finance, and supply chain.
- Experience working in or leading an electronics manufacturing business.
- Strong financial acumen and related experience.
- Experience working for a publicly traded company with regulated financial reporting requirements.
- A demonstrated ability to drive positive change, such as improving organizational effectiveness, profitability, overhead costs, strategic sourcing, rooftop consolidation, or adapting business models.
- A demonstrated ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships in a competitive industry.
Team & Environment
You will oversee 100 employees at AR’s headquarters in Souderton, PA, and partner with peer leaders to lead matrixed Customer Support and Sales personnel in North America, EMEA, and Asia. This role reports to the RF Power and Test Solutions (RPTS) Business Unit Vice President.
