Responsibilities
- Verify project setup meets both internal standards and external delivery requirements
- Process updated editorial turnovers and reflect changes in internal timelines and tracking systems
- Keep all edit versions current with the latest artist submissions
- Import and quality check new VFX shot versions into Avid, managing media and storage efficiently
- Supply reference materials such as witness camera footage, lineups, retimes, resizes, and audio for artist use
- Maintain accurate editorial data in shot and VFX tracking databases and demonstrate proficiency with editorial tools
- Generate or request selects for additional media, including element shoots, and prepare materials for client delivery
- Coordinate with editorial teams at other studio locations
- Communicate with cutting rooms when project needs require it
- Organize and lead daily review sessions and client screenings using Avid, SRP, or remote platforms
- Build strong working relationships with production, artists, and support departments by providing timely information and reference
- Offer guidance, encouragement, and on-the-job training to junior staff when appropriate
- Securely transfer files using Front and Aspera as required
- Assemble internal and external showreels and execute wrap-up procedures at project completion
- Build familiarity with high-quality studio work and begin compiling a library of potential showreel music tracks
- Adhere to confidentiality agreements and follow media security protocols at all times
