Responsibilities

• Engage with both current and prospective clients to understand their technical and business challenges
• Present and demonstrate SingleStore product offering to fortune 50 companies
• Provide valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions
• Stay up to date with database technologies and the SingleStore product offerings
• Create and validate TCO calculations and ROI models to show positive business outcomes

Requirements

• Must be passionate about customers’ goals, initiatives and objectives
• Must be comfortable in both high executive conversations and deeply understanding technology and its value-proposition
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to C-Suite
• Broad range of experience within large-scale distributed database and/or data warehousing technologies
• Demonstrated proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages and in analytics tools like Excel and Python used by FP&A teams
• Understanding of private and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware and hybrid architectures

Nice to Have

• Masters in related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc)
• Alternatively an advanced degree (e.g.: MBA)
• 7+ years experience in a technical pre-sales role
• 7+ years experience in value engineering or management consulting roles
