Trupanion is hiring a Veterinary Sales Associate (Part-Time) – Kamloops, BC

Trupanion is looking for a part-time Veterinary Sales Associate in Kamloops, BC. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and strengthening our partnerships with local veterinary practices. Your mission will be to educate clinic staff on the advantages of pet insurance and support its integration into their daily operations to help eliminate economic euthanasia.

What You'll Do

• Visit veterinary practices in the Kamloops area to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Educate veterinary hospital owners and staff on the benefits of having insured clients.
• Support the incorporation of pet insurance into veterinary practice workflows.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a veterinary hospital environment.
• A thorough understanding of the veterinary industry.
• Passion for helping eliminate economic euthanasia in dogs and cats.
• The personality and skill to build trusted relationships with partnering veterinarian practices.
• Ability to present confidently to hospital owners and staff.
• Pet-passionate with a strong belief in Trupanion's mission.
• Able to establish and maintain customer relations with courteous, efficient, and professional service.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• An innate entrepreneurial drive with persistence and patience.
• Outstanding communication, listening skills, and a professional appearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Must possess a valid, clean driver’s license record and reliable car.
• Must live within the Kamloops area.
• Willing to be on the road visiting hospitals a minimum of 16 hours per week.
• Willing to perform administrative work from a home office.
• Available for a 1-week remote training program conducted via Zoom.

Work Mode
