Lola Blankets is hiring a Veterans Affairs (VA) Attorney to take on a hands-on advocacy role within Wettermark Keith’s expanding Veterans Disability Practice. You will own a substantial VA disability caseload, providing critical support to veterans.
What You'll Do
- Review VBMS and claims files in detail to build cases
- Identify legal errors and develop viable theories of entitlement
- Draft and file appeals, written arguments, and legal submissions
- Prepare Higher-Level Reviews and Board appeals
- Communicate directly with clients to guide them through the process
- Manage deadlines and workflow independently
What We're Looking For
- J.D. degree is required
- Active bar license in at least one state is required
Nice to Have
- Admission to the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) is a plus
- Experience in a VA disability practice is strongly preferred
