Rippleworks Foundation is looking for a Venture Success Manager to be the primary point of contact, advocate, and connector for a portfolio of social ventures. You will match venture needs with our programs and capital, combining deep relationship-building with strategic support to help ventures navigate challenges and maximize value. This role supports ventures across East Africa, India, and Asia time zones.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of at least 40 ventures, building deep, trust-based relationships with leadership teams and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Provide strategic coaching and thought partnership to help ventures clarify goals, navigate challenges, and maximize their partnership with Rippleworks.
- Actively collect and synthesize venture feedback to surface emerging needs and inform program development.
- Ensure ventures understand, access, and effectively use Rippleworks’ programs, tools, and resources to support their growth and increase impact.
- Work closely with internal teams to navigate venture requests, share insights, and advocate for venture needs while balancing organizational resources.
- Contribute to the growth, practices, and culture of the Venture Success team as a new function.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in or advising social ventures (nonprofit and/or for-profit).
- Experience in operations, growth/expansion, strategy, or equivalent in a mission-driven organization.
- Strong track record of building trust with diverse stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
- Energized by building long-term relationships; a natural coach and advocate who builds rapport quickly.
- An operator at heart and in practice, with experience in fast-moving, collaborative, resource-constrained environments.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, empathetic, and proactive.
