About the Role

The Vendor Management Specialist at AssistRx is a pivotal role that orchestrates the entire lifecycle of vendor relationships. You'll be the critical link ensuring our partnerships align perfectly with organizational policies, contractual commitments, and regulatory standards. This isn't just a job — it's about maintaining the highest integrity in our external collaborations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the full vendor lifecycle from initial evaluation through strategic onboarding, continuous monitoring, implementing corrective actions, and potential offboarding • Meticulously review vendor contracts, security documentation, and compliance records to guarantee absolute adherence to regulatory requirements • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk assessments, including rigorous debarment screening to protect our organizational interests • Seamlessly collaborate with Procurement, Security Operations, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure vendor activities perfectly align with company goals and policies • Develop and maintain precise documentation, performance dashboards, and compliance reports for leadership review • Proactively recommend and implement process improvements in vendor management policies and systems to maximize value and minimize risk • Perform systematic audits validating compliance across service level agreements, security protocols, privacy standards, data retention, and safety reporting requirements • Support the Compliance Department's daily operations, including audits, hotline management, internal controls, pharmacovigilance, document control, training, risk management, and trend analysis • Stay ahead of evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations, ensuring organizational adaptation • Cross-functionally collaborate to drive effective vendor and compliance management • Maintain meticulous data within Compliance & Privacy logs • Investigate and resolve compliance-related complaints with thoroughness and precision • Track and manage nonconformance issues through established workflows • Continuously develop professional expertise through workshops, conferences, and certifications • Serve as an exceptional, knowledgeable resource for internal and external stakeholders • Apply nuanced compliance principles across diverse business scenarios • Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges • Execute additional duties as assigned by management Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Compliance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred • 2+ years of experience in vendor management, compliance, procurement (healthcare/pharmaceutical background a plus) • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare and pharmaceuticals • Proven experience conducting audits and managing compliance documentation • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency with vendor management systems and compliance tracking tools • Advanced problem-solving capabilities with cross-departmental collaboration skills • Exceptional attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and deadlines Core Competencies: • Vendor & Contract Management • Risk Assessment & Mitigation • Regulatory Compliance • Cross-Functional Collaboration • Communication & Relationship Management • Problem Solving & Process Improvement • Data Management & Reporting Benefits: • Supportive, progressive, fast-paced environment • Competitive pay structure • Matching 401(k) with immediate vesting • Comprehensive insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability) • AssistRx, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
