House Buyers of America is hiring a Valuations Analyst to accurately value prospective residential property deals and define scopes of work for our nationwide portfolio. You’ll determine pricing strategies to maximize ROI on acquisitions and dispositions, ensuring we meet aggressive turnaround objectives as we expand across 44 states and Washington DC.
What You'll Do
- Determine pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all acquired properties and set turnaround times for dispositions.
- Partner with Sales and Construction Departments regarding pricing decisions, budget, and scope of work for construction strategy.
- Value properties across the entire US and ensure the accuracy of all valuations.
- Meet turnaround objectives for valuations and ensure properties do not sit too long on the market.
- Handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Do anything else necessary to help the company meet its goals.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential property valuations or underwriting.
Nice to Have
- Appraisal license or completion of all appraisal coursework.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Amazing computer skills and ability to pick up new technology quickly.
Team & Environment
You’ll partner closely with the Sales and Construction Departments on pricing and construction strategy decisions.

- Compensation range of $70,000-$95,000 inclusive of base salary and bonus.
