Hunt St is hiring a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant for Accounts Payable & Xero Project Support. You will support our finance and operations team by managing financial workflows, providing executive-level administrative assistance, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes using Xero
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile them with purchase orders, and prepare payment batches
- Maintain accurate supplier records and manage email correspondence
- Handle Xero Projects expense allocations, job costing, and project financial monitoring
- Prepare weekly budget versus actual overhead reports
- Assist with reconciliations and basic financial reporting
- Provide personal assistance support including calendar management and scheduling
- Take meeting notes, follow up on action items, and support task delegation
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with ad hoc administrative and project-related tasks
What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience with Xero (essential)
- Proven hands-on experience using Xero Projects
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Previous experience supporting Australian clients
- Background in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting support
- Experience working as a Virtual Assistant or in a Project Support role

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $1800 AUD - $2400 AUD per month
