Global Finance Teams (GFT) is seeking an experienced US Bookkeeper for a fully remote position. In this critical role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and the integrity of the month-end close process.
What You'll Do
- Accurately record general ledger transactions, including accruals, month-end adjustments, intercompany entries, and balance sheet entries, ensuring correct classification and compliance.
- Lead and execute the month-end closing process, monitoring team tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and provide detailed schedules for management and audit support.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and audit requirements, providing necessary documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, HR, and FP&A to align financial entries with budgets and provide ad-hoc reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- At least 2 years working with a US-based accounting firm as a bookkeeper.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Background working for a US-based company is a plus.
