Company : Allegheny Health Network : GENERAL OVERVIEW Provides crucial support to the nursing unit by effectively managing communication, order processing, documentation, and maintaining an efficient workspace under registered nurse supervision. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Executes administrative tasks related to patient admission, transfer, discharge, record management, telecommunication, and unit reception. (30%) - Interfaces with patients, families, medical professionals, healthcare teams, and external organizations. (10%) - Processes medical directives, arranges clinical procedures with licensed nursing approval, requests clarification when needed, and validates patient billing within established timelines. (50%) - Implements operational strategies to enhance unit productivity and workflow efficiency.
