CVS Health is hiring an Underwriter Analyst to join the Business Analysis Team for Meritain Health, an independent subsidiary of Aetna and CVS. In this National Accounts role, you will support organizational goals by issuing business quotations, consulting on unique requests, and conducting margin analysis. You will perform cost analysis and risk assessment to ensure business profitability and meet client needs.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and analyze factors to determine appropriate products, services, and fees in partnership with Sales and Client Management.
• Review supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness while adhering to company guidelines.
• Prepare and issue quotations and financial deliverables for prospective and existing business, meeting departmental KPIs.
• Actively participate in RFP strategy calls, contribute insights, and analyze options to develop pricing aligned with sales strategy.
• Manage, interpret, and transform operational and financial data into analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on pricing strategies and exception-based pricing.
• Work with leaders from key functional areas to understand potential financial impact and execute activities.
• Develop and participate in presentations to existing and prospective customers, business partners, and internal teams.
• Source data from multiple platforms to provide a clear picture of actual performance and profitability.
• Determine program viability, market access opportunity, revenue successes and gaps, cost trending, and trend shifts.
• Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis to business partners.
• Evaluate and analyze the financial impact of key business strategies.

What We're Looking For

• 2 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.
• 2 years of project, program, or process management experience.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet or exceed expectations.
• Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and results effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Foundational medical underwriting skills.
• Self-funded Insurance or Third Party Administrator (TPA) experience.
• Experience with Salesforce.
