What You'll Do
Own and expand the sales portfolio for food ingredients and colours across Turkey, focusing on manufacturers in the food and beverage industry. You will shape and implement a country-level sales strategy that aligns with regional goals, driving revenue through targeted forecasting and budget planning.
Build and maintain relationships with major national and international clients, leading contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements. You'll identify emerging market opportunities and new segments to grow presence in categories such as dairy, beverages, bakery, confectionery, savoury, and snacks.
Work closely with regional technical, R&D, and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and trade fairs, ensuring strong market visibility. Regular travel within Turkey is a key part of the role.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience in the food ingredients sector
- Established network in the Turkish food and beverage manufacturing industry
- Proven track record selling flavours, colours, extracts, natural ingredients, and powdered products
- Experience engaging multinational clients across key food categories
- Fluent communication skills in both Turkish and English
- Based in Istanbul with ability to support a hybrid work model
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
An MBA is considered a strong advantage for strategic decision-making and leadership effectiveness in this role.
Work Mode
This position is based in Istanbul with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office and remote work as needed.
