Drive Sales Growth in Turkey's Food Industry
As the Turkey Country Sales Manager, you will shape and execute the commercial strategy for food ingredients and colours, focusing on sustained expansion within the local food and beverage manufacturing sector. Based in Istanbul, you will combine office work with regular travel across the country to engage directly with clients and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand the sales portfolio by partnering with food and beverage manufacturers, including multinational and regional leaders
- Lead the commercial push for flavours, colours, extracts, powdered ingredients, and natural solutions
- Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy, including forecasting, budget planning, and market analysis
- Identify emerging market segments and untapped opportunities to grow market share
- Negotiate pricing structures and long-term supply agreements
- Work closely with regional technical, R&D, and marketing teams to align customer needs with product development
- Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Maintain a strong presence through regular travel across Turkey
Qualifications and Experience
You bring over a decade of B2B sales experience in the food ingredients sector, with a proven ability to secure business with major food manufacturers. Your established network in Turkey’s food and beverage industry is a key asset.
- Extensive background selling flavours, colours, natural ingredients, and powdered solutions to sectors such as dairy, beverage, bakery, confectionery, savoury, and snacks
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of building lasting client relationships
- Fluency in both Turkish and English is required
- Based in Istanbul and available for frequent domestic travel
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
- An MBA is considered an advantage but not required
