Software Mind is seeking an Application Engineer (TSO) to join a team delivering and maintaining ICT solutions for major mobile network operators in Poland and Europe. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications.

What You'll Do

Participate in creating ICT solutions and applications at each project stage: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate closely with development and testing teams on CI/CD processes, release management, and task automation.
Analyze problems and implement corrections in supported systems.
Ensure operational continuity of platforms through reviews, security updates, and monitoring improvements.
Manage L3 support requests.

What We're Looking For

Ability to administer a Linux environment (CentOS, RedHat, or Debian).
Good knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack.
Knowledge of Gitlab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., bash, perl, python).
Knowledge of SQL and experience in SQL database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience in maintaining applications, with a preference for Java.
Knowledge of English and Polish at a level enabling easy communication and documentation creation.

Nice to Have

Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Knowledge of Cloud technologies (GCP or AWS).
Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible or Terraform).
Understanding of secrets management (Vault).
Familiarity with artifact management systems (Artifactory or Harbor).
Knowledge of tools for task automation and IaC.
Knowledge of VoIP protocols and GSM / 3G / LTE / IMS network architecture.
A willingness to take on 24/7 duty after an adaptation period.
Experience with virtualization infrastructure management (VMware or Proxmox).
