About the Role

What You'll Do

Manage a diverse portfolio of trusts, estates, and agency accounts, ensuring all actions align with legal documents, regulatory requirements, and client goals. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and beneficiaries, offering clear guidance on trust administration, distributions, and planning considerations.

Interpret wills, trust agreements, and related legal instruments to direct appropriate administrative steps. Work closely with investment, tax, and legal specialists to coordinate services and maintain consistency across client accounts. Monitor account activity, investment performance, and cash flow to ensure timely and accurate execution.

Identify potential risks or compliance concerns and take prompt action, escalating when necessary. Support business growth by fostering strong client relationships and contributing to community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline
  • Bring at least seven years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or fiduciary services, preferably within a bank, trust company, or wealth management setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fiduciary responsibilities, trust structures, estate settlement, tax implications, and investment principles
  • Exhibit strong analytical and document review skills, with consistent attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and colleagues, managing sensitive matters with discretion
  • Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams including legal, tax, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTFA certification or active pursuit of designation
  • Experience with Florida-specific trust laws
  • Familiarity with trust accounting systems and wealth management platforms
