Corewell Health is looking for a Tray Line Trainer to join our Nutrition Services team. In this Senior Technician role, you'll ensure our food and nutritional services are delivered in a cost-effective and efficient manner to patients, employees, and visitors. You'll monitor service quality and make key decisions to solve departmental concerns, playing a vital role in our patient care mission.

What You'll Do

Teach and maintain correct sanitation and personal hygiene procedures throughout assigned areas.
Apply reasonable judgment to the interpretation of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Oversee day-end cash out and daily deposits, making cash register program changes when applicable.
Ensure proper preparation, service, and storage of food items, labeling and dating items per standard.
Take responsibility for the training of new staff.
May lead new hire department orientation or perform other technical tasks within your designated area.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or Equivalent
CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days of hire
6 months of relevant experience in food service, preferably in a health care setting or related field

Nice to Have

6 months of relevant experience in a leadership role
Associate's Degree in Hospitality or Nutrition
