As a Seasonal Traveling Photographer/Videographer, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality visual content for apartment communities across the Midwest. Starting May 18th, 2026, this five- to seven-month role centers on capturing professional photos and walkthrough videos that highlight property features and floor plans for digital marketing use.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site photo and video sessions at apartment properties, primarily within a 200-mile radius of Kansas City
- Drive to locations during scheduled shoot windows and manage daily logistics
- Follow detailed production specs to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain accurate notes and organize media files according to established workflows
- Communicate professionally with property staff during visits
- Stay aligned with your schedule, deliverables, and on-site contacts
- Collaborate regularly with the central Media Team and report to your manager
- Engage in ongoing training and incorporate feedback from post-production reviewers
Requirements
- Demonstrated skill in photography and videography with a strong eye for composition
- Resident of the Kansas City area with reliable transportation
- Ability to travel weekly within a 200-mile radius, including overnight trips if needed
- Strong organizational habits, including calendar management and attention to detail
- Commitment to professionalism when interacting with client teams
- Consistent reliability and punctuality for scheduled assignments
- Passion for creating compelling visual content
Preferred Qualifications
- Enjoys exploring new locations and adapting to different environments
- Willingness to take on occasional assignments beyond the local region, including air travel and hotel stays
- Interest in short-term travel to various cities or states as project needs arise
