Role Overview
As a Transportation Support Coordinator, you’ll work entirely from home to support drivers, dispatchers, and logistics teams in keeping freight moving efficiently. This position is designed for individuals eager to build a foundation in transportation operations, with opportunities to advance into dispatching roles over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely information to drivers, including pickup and delivery details, appointment times, and route updates
- Monitor load progress, track estimated arrival times, and manage updates related to delays, vehicle issues, or hours-of-service constraints
- Assist drivers in resolving on-the-road challenges promptly and professionally
- Verify shipment documentation, including BOLs and PODs, to ensure cargo matches the load specifications
- Confirm pickup and delivery appointments, avoiding scheduling conflicts and tight turnarounds
- Record and communicate realistic loading and unloading durations
- Update and maintain precise load notes and status records in the TMS
- Track detention, layover, and non-utilized time for billing and performance review
- Send regular check calls and provide real-time updates to brokers and shippers
- Communicate changes or disruptions quickly and clearly to all stakeholders
- Build and maintain professional relationships with carriers, brokers, and shipping partners
Qualifications
Successful candidates will demonstrate clear communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure. Organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless operations.
Previous exposure to load boards or transportation management systems is helpful but not required—training is provided to support your growth.

This role is 100% remote with flexible scheduling, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments. You’ll use standard logistics technology platforms, including a TMS and load boards, to manage freight activity and maintain communication across the supply chain.
