Enfinity Global is hiring a Transmission and Grid Interconnection Manager to lead all utility-facing interconnection activities for large‑scale solar and battery storage projects across the United States. In this role, you’ll be critical to advancing our development pipeline by managing the full generator interconnection process, from application through to executed agreements.
What You'll Do
- Partner with senior leadership to identify promising transmission opportunities and shape strategies to expand the development pipeline.
- Lead the coordination of transmission analyses, including power‑flow and deliverability studies, and synthesize results into reliable upgrade cost estimates.
- Provide a deep, investment‑grade understanding of interconnection frameworks, study methodologies, and contractual requirements across ISOs/RTOs.
- Direct the technical selection of points of interconnection and prepare complete, accurate interconnection requests for submission.
- Track, interpret, and communicate tariff updates, process revisions, and policy changes in each target region.
- Monitor major transmission expansion plans and advise on optimal timing for submitting interconnection requests to strategically position projects.
- Maintain up‑to‑date oversight of all interconnection positions, communicating key deadlines, costs, and risks across teams.
- Represent the company as the primary liaison in interactions with RTOs, ISOs, and utilities.
- Support internal teams in the negotiation of interconnection‑related agreements with technical and strategic recommendations.
- Build and manage a network of external consultants and internal systems to organize interconnection processes and data.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen workflows, enhance efficiency, and provide guidance or training to development colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
- A strong, practical understanding of transmission systems as they relate to siting and developing renewable and storage projects.
- Ability to distill complex system studies into clear technical and strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with RTO and utility tariffs, including associated business practices, protocols, and operational guides.
- Hands‑on experience using power system modeling tools such as PSSE, PowerWorld, MUST, TARA, or comparable platforms.
- Demonstrated program and portfolio management capabilities, overseeing multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.
- A proactive mindset focused on assessing operational needs, identifying process improvements, and driving long‑term solutions.
- Strong organizational habits with exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to deliver clear, high‑quality presentations.
- A decisive, action‑oriented approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- A proven ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively with diverse internal teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally supported by a technical bachelor’s degree and/or direct involvement in interconnection or transmission planning work.
