PSI CRO is looking for a Translator/Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will be dedicated to producing high-quality translations and providing interpreting support in our international business environment. You will be responsible for translating clinical trial and medical documentation as well as business correspondence, ensuring clarity for patients, physicians, regulatory authorities, and clients.
What You'll Do
- Translate clinical trial and medical documentation, business correspondence, and technical documents for company departments.
- Localize and customize translations to meet regulatory requirements.
- Edit, proofread, and review translated documents for accuracy.
- Develop translation templates for routine and standard documentation.
- Act as an interdepartmental liaison on matters related to editing and reviewing translations.
- Interpret at meetings and conferences as required.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in Foreign Languages (English) or Linguistics.
- Hands-on experience in English to Traditional Chinese translation.
- Traditional Chinese as your native language and C2-level proficiency in English.
- Top-level communicative competence in Traditional Chinese.
- Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and spelling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use CAT tools effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate and complete translations.
Nice to Have
- A major in Translation and/or Interpreting Studies.
- Professional training and/or certification in Translation.
- Medical and healthcare translation experience.
- Knowledge of a second foreign language.
