About the Role

International SOS Government Medical Services is hiring an MRI Technician for a worldwide rapid deployment team supporting Johns Hopkins research efforts on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. You must be ready to deploy internationally within 72 hours of notification to observe MRI procedures, ensure protocol compliance, and guarantee the secure delivery of images.

What You'll Do

  • Travel internationally on short notice, deploying within 72 hours of notification.
  • Conduct MRI scans in strict accordance with the provided research protocol.
  • Observe local MRI technicians performing the procedure to ensure quality.
  • Download, safeguard, and deliver all images to the designated client.
  • Maintain all supplies and equipment throughout travel.
  • Submit travel vouchers within 5 days of returning from a deployment.
  • Complete all required organizational compliance and certification training.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited MRI technician or certificate program.
  • Current Certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technicians (ARRT).
  • Ability to successfully perform BLS interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on MRI experience.
  • Experience operating MRI devices from GE, Philips Healthcare, Siemens, Toshiba, and Canon.
  • MRI experience with contrast agents.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Ability to travel internationally within 72 hours; a valid passport is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in remote or austere settings.
  • Experience placing Peripheral Intravenous (PIV) lines.

Team & Environment

You will join a worldwide rapid deployment team providing direct support to Johns Hopkins research teams.
