Moeve (formerly Cepsa) is hiring a Trading Legal Advisor to provide real-time legal advice to our Gas & Power trading desks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. This role focuses on energy commodities and decarbonization, requiring deep expertise in the daily lifecycle of energy trading.
What You'll Do
- Act as primary legal point of contact for Gas & Power trading desks, providing real-time advice on commercial structures and market regulations.
- Lead drafting and negotiation of EFET Agreements, Master Agreements, LNG and NG spot supply agreements, and ISDA and CMOF agreements.
- Drive legal framework for Biomethane business, managing feedstock supply contracts and trading of Guarantees of Origin and sustainability certificates.
- Oversee legal requirements for participation in European gas hubs and power exchanges.
- Navigate complex REMIT, MiFID II, and EMIR requirements for gas and electricity trading.
- Support structuring of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
What We're Looking For
- Master’s Degree in Law.
- 5+ years of experience strictly focused on Energy Trading, either in-house at a Utility/Trading House or in a top-tier Energy law practice.
- Proven track record in the daily lifecycle of gas and power commercialization.
- Prior experience with Biomethane contracts and the regulatory landscape of renewable gases.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
Nice to Have
- Specialization in Energy Law or International Commercial Law.

This role is based on-site in Madrid.
