The Asset & Wealth Management division is hiring a High Yield Trader at the Analyst/Associate level for its Global Corporate Credit team in New York. You will be a pivotal member of a dynamic trading and portfolio management group, directly contributing to the strategic allocation of high yield credit across diverse portfolios and investment strategies.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to identify and execute on value opportunities in the high yield corporate bond market.
- Analyze and execute security selection and relative value strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
- Partner with credit and client portfolio managers to construct, monitor, and manage credit risk exposures and cash flows.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sell-side trading desks and syndicate teams to optimize market access.
- Formulate recommendations, allocate capital, and execute trades efficiently and accurately.
- Enhance and maintain proprietary trading tools, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fixed income trading, sales, or related analytical roles.
- Understanding of global fixed income and credit markets.
- Interest in corporate bonds and macroeconomics.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail for financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate market insights and strategies clearly.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and accountable work ethic.
- Initiative and resilience in a fast-paced trading environment.
Nice to Have
- Direct trading experience preferred.
- Asset management experience is an advantage.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $85,000 - $110,000
