Collette is hiring a Tour Operations Manager to join our Tour Design and Delivery team. You will act as the operational leader and primary point of contact for our tours in a specific region, building relationships and ensuring operational excellence to meet our company revenue goals.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all operational aspects of a tour, including issues, crises, and regional knowledge.
- Manage vendor relationships within your territory to ensure delivery of contracted services and tour components.
- Resolve vendor issues related to quality concerns and contract execution.
- Approve, negotiate, and create messages for all tour changes.
- Manage all issues that arise when tours are on the road, such as hotel walks, street closures, or vendor closures.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors and Tour Managers on any product-related questions or issues.
- Collaborate closely within the Product Development, Operations, and Tour Delivery teams to understand traveler challenges and improve overall tour excellence.

- Demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proactive, positive professional demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Operational experience in the group guided touring space, particularly in the Nordic regions.
- Ability to collaborate well with others and foster a cooperative work environment; initiates and commits to self-development.
- Self-starter: Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; must be able to multi-task efficiently and accurately while thinking critically.
- Possesses a fiscal understanding of how decisions impact financial position; ability to evaluate business decisions considering tour margins and quality.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize independent judgement and sound decision-making to solve unique challenges.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills within a diverse global community.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple priorities.
- Must be flexible to an ever-changing travel industry and educated in current events worldwide.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekend and holiday coverage to meet business needs.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications.
- Must be available to travel approximately 40–60 days per year.
