EX Squared is hiring a The Health Initiative Senior Director, Research & Analytics (Remote - US)

This is a transformative leadership role focused on overseeing research and analytics for initiatives aimed at redirecting healthcare spending toward health-promoting investments. You will spearhead data-driven strategies that measure and illustrate the impact of channeling healthcare resources into social determinants of health like food and housing. The role encompasses constructing integrated data platforms, guiding research agendas, and generating actionable insights to influence policy and organizational decision-making. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, internal teams, and external partners to ensure research and analytics efforts drive substantial change. This position is fully remote within the US and demands a blend of analytical precision, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership. Accountabilities: · Spearhead impact tracking by developing and maintaining data platforms that quantify healthcare investments in health-promoting interventions. · Supervise the creation and refinement of integrated data environments, ensuring robust reporting and database management. · Generate high-quality data and statistical deliverables, including analyses, reports, manuscripts, and materials for internal and external stakeholders. · Manage the organization's research agenda, aligning analyses with strategic priorities and monitoring progress against goals. · Direct research and analytics partnerships, including internal staff, collaborators, and contractors, to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. · Actively contribute to leadership team initiatives, organizational culture, and cross-functional goal achievement. Requirements: · 10+ years of experience using data and research to model or evaluate healthcare policy and intervention impacts. · Expertise in data collection, statistical analysis, program evaluation, and both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. · Comprehensive understanding of healthcare financing, policy, and social determinants of health impacts. · Demonstrated ability to translate complex research findings into actionable insights for non-academic stakeholders. · Experience managing internal teams and external research partners to achieve organizational objectives. · PhD preferred in statistics, economics, actuarial science, health policy, or health services research; Master's degree required. · Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning capabilities. · Exceptional communication, relational, and analytical skills.
