We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for Automation Initiatives in a fully remote United States position. We are pursuing an accomplished Senior Project Manager to spearhead transformative automation and artificial intelligence/machine learning initiatives across intricate, multi-departmental environments. This role emphasizes driving intelligent process automation, predictive analytics, and generative AI projects from conceptualization through implementation while maintaining strict alignment with organizational goals, ethical technological principles, and operational precision. The professional will coordinate distributed teams, facilitate stakeholder interactions, and provide strategic leadership to generate quantifiable business outcomes. The position integrates technical expertise with leadership, mentoring, and continuous process enhancement, requiring collaboration across business intelligence, data science, and engineering domains to accelerate automation adoption and digital transformation. The role offers remote flexibility while supporting enterprise-level strategic initiatives. Accountabilities: · Manage comprehensive delivery of sophisticated AI, ML, and intelligent automation projects, controlling scope, timeline, budget, and quality. · Synchronize cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, developers, and business analysts, ensuring strategic alignment on priorities and deliverables. · Supervise automation platform implementations, machine learning operations pipelines, and model deployment, maintaining responsible practices regarding bias, interpretability, and data confidentiality. · Function as primary communication liaison for stakeholders and executive leadership, providing transparent status reports, analytical dashboards, and comprehensive risk evaluations. · Design and implement organizational change management strategies supporting automation solution integration and operational preparedness. · Guide and mentor junior project management professionals and teams on methodological approaches, technological tools, and automation best practices. · Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project-related risks concerning automation, AI/ML modeling, and regulatory compliance. Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline; Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred. · Minimum 5 years managing extensive, cross-functional projects in AI/ML, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics domains. · Practical experience with agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional project management methodologies. · Demonstrated expertise in automation concepts, model training/evaluation, feature engineering, and machine learning operational processes. · Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI) and automation technologies. · Comprehensive understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, AI Act), and responsible automation principles. · Proven capability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa. · Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication capabilities. · Project management certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) considered advantageous.
