Lightcast is hiring a Thai Language Linguist to join our team. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Thai language to analyze, annotate, and process linguistic data, contributing directly to the quality and depth of our global data products.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and annotate Thai language data with high precision.
- Apply linguistic principles to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with data teams to support the development of language models and datasets.
- Continuously improve annotation guidelines and processes for Thai language tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Native or near-native proficiency in the Thai language.
- Strong foundation in linguistics, with a degree in Linguistics, Philology, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to data analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Professional fluency in English for collaboration and documentation.
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. You will be expected to maintain effective communication and collaboration with a distributed team.
