Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related or technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in engineering, science management, operations research, or financial and cost analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with U.S. Navy programs or within Navy operations environments.
- Current active Secret security clearance is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Officer qualified in U.S. Navy submarines.
- Background supporting U.S. Navy initiatives or prior active-duty Navy service.
- Program management experience with SUPSHIP at General Dynamics Electric Boat (GDEB) or Huntington Ingalls Industries Newport News Shipbuilding (HII NNS).
- Served as Project Officer for a NAVSEA submarine program office.
- Served as Assistant Program Manager in a NAVSEA submarine program office.
- Held role of Test & Evaluation Director within a NAVSEA submarine program office.
- Planned and managed test and evaluation activities for a submarine program.
- Led coordination efforts for updating a Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
- Conducted sea trials and post-delivery testing for a submarine program office.
- Experience as a Repair Officer or Assistant Repair Officer at a Naval Submarine Support Facility.
- Served as Assistant Project Officer with SUPSHIP at a submarine construction yard (GDEB or HII NNS).
- Worked as Repair Officer or Assistant Repair Officer aboard a submarine tender.
- Served as Ship Superintendent at a Naval Shipyard.
- Demonstrated ability to understand program objectives, organizational dynamics, and decision impacts on resources.
