Responsibilities
- Carry out daily, monthly, and quarterly or semi-annual preventative maintenance on automated test equipment, handlers, and contactors.
- Clean and replace worn components such as contactor pins, sockets, and indexing mechanisms.
- Conduct regular calibration of test system instruments including voltage sources, digital I/O pins, and parametric measurement units.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and thermal issues within test cells.
- Assist Test Engineers in identifying failure correlations and collecting data for root cause evaluation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process enhancements and address yield-related concerns.
- Engage in failure analysis activities and contribute to root cause investigations.
- Create and manage documentation and reports related to test system maintenance and operations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems.
- Strong capabilities in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to detect trends and anomalies.
- Proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software system issues.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a high-speed production environment.
- Experience in supporting high-volume, high-mix manufacturing operations.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with ATE platforms such as UltraFLEX, V93K, or T2000, and experience with Class/Tape Handlers like EPSON, JHT, or Vitrox is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of handler and prober mechanical systems and thermal control mechanisms.
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets, test specifications, and electrical schematics is an added advantage.
