The Senior QA Engineer develops comprehensive test plans and scripts, identifies and tracks product issues, and ensures high-quality delivery of game themes and operating systems. This role involves close collaboration with development teams and follows established QA methodologies in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems.
- Identify, record, and monitor product defects during testing, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Deliver accurate and timely updates on project progress for all assigned tasks.
- Reproduce reported software issues to support development teams in diagnosing and resolving problems.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing procedures and QA methodologies.
- Document bugs clearly and concisely in English using the approved bug tracking system.
- Maintain consistent communication with the immediate supervisor regarding task progress and performance expectations.
- Regularly consult with the direct manager on current assignments and initiatives.
- Provide timely progress reports and seek guidance when necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Take part in team meetings, daily huddles, and impromptu discussions as required.
- Assist with additional duties and projects assigned by management to support team and departmental objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a QA Specialist or Engineer on Client-Server applications.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems.
- Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of mobile web testing and cross-platform compatibility across Android and iOS platforms.
- Experience with tools such as Fiddler or similar network tracing and sniffing software.
- Familiarity with the gaming and casino industry.
- Technical proficiency in MySQL.
- Technical proficiency in HTML5.
- Technical proficiency in XML and JSON.
- Technical proficiency in JavaScript.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
