Unigen is looking for a Test and Validation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our SSD, memory, and AI products. In this role, you will apply a strong software engineering background to develop test plans, execute rigorous functional and stress tests, and modernize lab processes using advanced automation and AI agents.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports based on product requirements and industry standards like JEDEC, OCP, NVMe, and PCIe.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for SSD validation.
- Execute functional, endurance, and stress tests on SSDs to maximize test coverage.
- Partner with NAND, FW, SoC, and other validation teams to drive issues to swift and effective solutions.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and track issues through resolution using JIRA.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test coverage capabilities with modern innovative solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI, Memory, and SSD technologies, protocols, and industry test methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A foundation in system-level validation and familiarity with AI, memory, and storage protocols.
- Experience with industry-standard validation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Ability to learn and work with advanced testing platforms, including deep-learning-based tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- A commitment to ensuring reliable product performance and delivering high-quality SSD, memory, and AI solutions.
