This role is a working student position in Quality Assurance automation based in Munich, operating under a hybrid work model. The position focuses on technical contributions to QA processes, involving software development and scripting tasks within a structured team environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of technical duties as part of quality assurance automation efforts
- Work a minimum of three days per week, with at least two days spent on-site in Munich
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student in electrical engineering, material sciences, physics, chemistry, or a related field with equivalent practical experience
- Available to work at least three days per week, including two days on-site in Munich
- Demonstrated interest in software development or scripting
- Proficient in one or more of the following: Perl, Python, C++, or Tcl
- Familiarity with Windows 11, MS Office, and UNIX or LINUX operating systems
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso
- Fluent and proficient in English
Nice to Have
- Background in digital or analog/mixed-signal circuit design is a strong advantage
- Prior exposure to physical verification tools such as Calibre or ICV is beneficial though not mandatory
- Fluency in German is a plus
