Drive Sales Through Direct Customer Engagement
As a Territory Sales Specialist, you’ll take ownership of a designated sales region, traveling regularly to meet clients at job sites, facilities, and retail locations. Your focus will be on understanding each customer’s unique equipment needs, evaluating current setups, and recommending appropriate upgrades or replacements based on performance, efficiency, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person and remote outreach to both new prospects and established accounts to generate sales leads and close orders
- Demonstrate equipment functionality on-site or in-store, highlighting features and benefits tied to real-world applications
- Prepare competitive pricing proposals, including bundled packages with attachments, and negotiate terms that meet customer and company objectives
- Process orders accurately, communicate delivery timelines, and coordinate post-sale support such as repairs or service scheduling
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products associated with New Holland and Bobcat brands, including specifications, use cases, and rental options
- Track financing alternatives available for new and used equipment to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust outreach strategies
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activity, and inventory levels using POS systems and reporting tools
- Attend industry events, training sessions, and team meetings to stay current on product updates and sales techniques
- Submit monthly call plans and expense documentation, including fuel and product receipts
Qualifications
Candidates must be comfortable learning and using POS systems efficiently. Familiarity with New Holland and Bobcat equipment lines is required to provide accurate, confident guidance to customers.
