Sonepar (Cooper Electric Supply, LLC) is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to lead the New York City territory. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion while ensuring a positive customer experience. You will manage all financial metrics and collaborate with internal teams to support business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the New York City territory to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Be accountable for all financial metrics, including revenue, GP, expenses, and EBIT targets.
- Maintain and strengthen current customer relationships while developing new opportunities.
- Conduct regular market analysis to determine customer potential and inform sales strategy.
- Work with marketing and digital teams on plans for business expansion, target marketing, and promotions.
- Resolve issues from customers, vendors, and other departments promptly.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure inventory availability.
- Work with purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of products.
What We're Looking For
- Ten or more years of experience in a sales leadership role.
- A demonstrated track record of revenue growth and sales performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills with the ability to utilize data.
- The ability to sit, stand, and walk for the full length of an assigned shift.
- The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (and heavier weights with proper equipment).
- The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
- Ability to travel throughout the NYC region.
