British American Tobacco is seeking a Territory Manager to join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL. Our purpose is to create A Better Tomorrow™ by Building a Smokeless World. This role is for a results-driven self-starter who will impact our evolving multi-category business by growing brands and cultivating strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Achieve commercial sales and growth objectives within your territory to support division, region, and company goals.
- Develop and execute a local strategy and business plan by identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and targeting existing and potential retail outlets.
- Formulate a strategy for product and Point of Sale (POS) material placement to optimize sales and market visibility.
- Achieve and demonstrate mastery of customer and consumer engagement skills.
- Build client willingness and capability to collaborate on key business fundamentals to accelerate industry transformation and increase market share.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with local chains and distributors through personal correspondence, influence, retail visits, and presentations to increase sales.
- Sell and execute the 5Ps (presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling) to customers and adult nicotine consumers.
- Analyze your territory to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Division Manager on territory-specific customer and sales planning, company product initiatives, and market share improvement.

Work Mode
This is a local-city position based in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring daily travel within the territory.
