About the Role

3M is seeking a Territory Field Sales Representative to drive sales growth in Northern California and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll represent 3M’s diverse product portfolios, implement strategic initiatives, and provide solutions to improve job-site efficiencies for customers and partners.

What You'll Do

  • Implement leadership strategies to drive new product introductions, promotional programs, and training within your territory.
  • Sell 3M products, including Abrasives, Tapes, Masking Systems, and Safety lines.
  • Support retailers, distributors, and end-users by providing solutions and training to enhance job-site efficiencies.
  • Present product information and solutions to customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Demonstrate how 3M products add value to customers’ operations.
  • Be on-call to support customer needs across your geographic territory.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in business administration from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of territory sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Strong presentation skills across diverse customer types, data analytics, and negotiation skills.
  • Bi-Lingual proficiency in English/Spanish.
  • Experience translating customer needs into creative solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple customers, self-motivate, and be accountable for setting and meeting goals.

Work Mode

This is a local-country role based in Northern California (Bay Area). The territory covers Northern California, Southern Oregon, Reno, and Boise.
