Cherry Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Territory Development Manager for the DC/Baltimore territory. You will be responsible for growing, developing, and retaining elective medical practices that have registered with Cherry. This is a hybrid role combining 80% field and 20% inside sales with an attractive incentive compensation plan.
What You'll Do
- Develop strong relationships with Cherry partner practices to retain and grow their transaction volume.
- Provide training and marketing enablement to practice staff, focusing on leveraging payment plan technology to grow their business.
- Engage regularly with all partner practices in your territory to build product excitement and drive high transaction levels.
- Strengthen Cherry's presence by asking for referrals at every opportunity.
- Solicit product and service feedback from partners while maintaining a consultative approach.
- Take ownership of your assigned territory with the goal of making Cherry the ubiquitous solution in your market.
- Accurately forecast expected sales (transaction volume) on a regular basis.
- Log and track all sales interactions in the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Organize and optimize your sales engagement cadence using technology tools and data analytics.
- Rapidly adapt your sales approach to different types of medical practices.
- Travel and attend industry events and trade shows as needed.
- Take ownership and accountability for your own success and continuously improve your sales approach.
- Be a team player and act like an owner – give and accept feedback, collaborate, and seek to lift every team member.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4+ years of sales experience focused on elective medical, aesthetic, or dental practices.
- Proven track record as a top performer meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to effectively engage clients both over the phone and in person.
- Independent worker, self-starter, and proven ability to exceed expectations in a remote work environment.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment filled with friendly competition where high performance is directly rewarded.
Nice to Have
- Mix of field and inside sales experience.
- Experience using cloud-based communication tools such as Slack, cloud-based VoIP telephony, and Zoom.
