About the Role

Unilever is hiring a Territory Development Manager for the Boston area to drive sustainable business growth through operator, chain, and trade partner engagement as part of a multi-touchpoint integrated digital ecosystem. You will be accountable for delivering business targets including Sales Growth, Reach & Penetration, and Digital Engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with Local Chain Account and Operator Customers to deliver business targets for the assigned Territory.
  • Execute a multi-touchpoint contact strategy, both online and face-to-face, to generate demand for Food Solutions products.
  • Provide virtual culinary consultation to targeted operators.
  • Implement a full Key Account Management approach, including CBP, Win & Retain funnel, and Contact Matrix.
  • Use data to convert business insights into activation solution selling.
  • Utilize market trends to create concept solution selling.
  • Network to key customer stakeholders to engage the right decision makers.
  • Prepare customer visits with solution recommendations and utilize the CRM Salesforce system to manage workflow.
  • Conduct F2F and Virtual Sampling, Ideation, and Cooking Demos using culinary knowledge.
  • Secure and coordinate customer orders each month to ensure growth is on target.
  • Meet with Distributors and Trade Partners to expand assortment, align on priorities, and source leads.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local Distributor Sales Rep’s (DSRs).
  • Implement promotions with customers related to key seasons and events.

What We're Looking For

  • CPG Foodservice Sales Experience (B2B Sales).
  • Culinary or Chef Selling Experiences.
  • Network of Existing Foodservice Operator Partners.
  • Distributor Sales, Ingredient Sales, or Broker Sales experience.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce).
  • Operator Experience.
  • Market and Geographical knowledge of the Boston area.
  • Food University Background (e.g., CIA, Food & Hospitality).
  • Multi-National Corporate Company Experience and an understanding of corporate ways of working.
  • A hunter with big ambition (70% hunting vs 30% farming).
  • A fast adopter of contemporary technology, already using AI in your day-to-day life.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including Power BI and Excel.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, proactively creating mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Curiosity and a constant drive to learn from the market to stay ahead of food trends.
  • Ability to sell premium brands with superiority selling stories and culinary solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish or Mandarin).
