About the Role

Acrisure is looking for a Telephonic Case Manager to serve as a Working Supervisor for a Telephonic Case Management and Clinical Services team. You will oversee referral processing, service levels, and quality to ensure cases align with Best Practices and client expectations while reinforcing our mission of being a collaborative market leader.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a reduced personal case management board while supervising team activities.
  • Ensure appropriate assigning, prioritizing, performance, and documentation of nursing activities for your team.
  • Monitor task due dates using management reports to ensure proper handling and resolution.
  • Routinely meet with staff to facilitate communication, training, and team building.
  • Perform Quality Assurance audits through regular case reviews.
  • Provide technical and clinical guidance to ensure staff are properly trained.
  • Establish and facilitate cooperative relationships with accounts, employers, physicians, preferred vendors, and internal staff.
  • Ensure account guidelines are followed and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Assist the manager with timely performance evaluations for team members.
  • Assist the manager with onboarding, ongoing training, team meetings, and oversight activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Current, active, and unrestricted Nursing licensure or certification in a US state/territory allowing independent assessment.
  • Experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry with a strong understanding of case management.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience collaborating with corporate leadership, customers, and prospective customers.
  • Able to effectively communicate, lead, and motivate within a remote or hybrid work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment, work well under pressure, and adapt to change.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Understanding of the insurance/TPA industry and marketplace.
  • Training, mentoring, and coaching ability.
  • A history of excellent Attendance and Performance.

Nice to Have

  • CCM or similar certification, or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
  • Prior experience with Datacare’s case management system or a similar platform.
